As I continue to grow in faith I've had to learn that, contrary to what I'd like to believe, I am *not* Superwoman. I've learned the earth will not stop turning on its axis transfixed in time, nor will my family fall apart if I am unable to commit to something.
That said, I have learned, for the firt time in my life to say "no" to things just because I want people to like me. So, there is no one thing I would "never" turn down.
It would be very difficult however, for me to turn down invitations from my children as they grow older to include me in their lives. My parents and I aren't close and I am trying to change that with my kids.
I would never turn down the opportunity to spend 2-weeks or more in an Italian villa, or go on a transatlantic cruise (assuming both were expenses paid of course).
We like to think of our weekend messages as conversations- with a couple of limitations: 1. We've only got 20-30 minutes together. 2. One person does most of the talking while 1000 people listen.
This blog is a spot where we can stretch both those limits. So stop in regularly and contribute your insights and questions.
