We each got a prayer card. One side simply read:
God, Thank You For What You've Done
On my card I wrote things like:
- Bringing me to Crossroads
- Giving me a wife and two kids that I don't deserve
- A quick recovery from a recent health issue
- New neighbors we are developing a friendship with
- Money to pay for my recent car repairs
How about you? What has come to mind this week as you thought through all of the times God has listened and responded to your needs?
Tell us about it using the comments section.

About 2 months ago my husband and I were at a big breaking point after over 7 years of marriage. We went to God and some friends invited us to Xroads. Last Sunday we were both able to write "our marriage" in the "thankful for" section on our blue cards. It is true that we should give thanks to the Lord for the things he give us every single day without fail!
Sometimes you just know that you are in the right place at the right time. I'm glad you were!
I wasn't able to be at Xroads this past weekend, but I am thankful for the technology that keeps me connected even when I can't physically be present in my community. We are designed as relational beings, so even if that relationship comes in the form of a blog, I am extremely thankful for it.
