You bet! By now you've probably heard that Craig Gross from XXX Church will be with us this weekend. XXX is a ministry to both people in the porn industry and people who create the demand for the porn industry. Check out their site HERE.
Craig will speak to guys ages 11 and up at a breakfast (Porn & Pancakes) from 8-10am on Saturday morning. Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door.
He will also provide the weekend teaching at all of our services and will help us better understand the scope of the porn problem and some personal solutions.
Whether or not you think this issue has anything to do with you, we'd encourage you to be a part of things this weekend.

I don't know know if anyone would like to approach this topic openly but I will go ahead.
Honestly, I think that tackling this issue of pornography head on is a welcome opportunity in the Lexington area. My question would be this...How would Jesus approach the topic if he were physically here now?
As I was driving last Saturday down New Circle Road, Solid Platnium was having their "annual topless car wash. I thought, hmmm, what an outreach opportunity...
As my face is red as a radish...Nu huh, you crazy???? But I did think if we had some folks hand out our "Porn and Pancakes" flyers as the cars pulled out got clean, what an outreach. Any volunteers for that one? Red face, yet again.
I know for some folks (including myself) question, Why Father's day of all days? Couldn't this Porn stuff be done on another day besides Father's day? I think that will change when we experience it.
I guess my encouragement to all would be to come with the attitude of praise God and see what He has in store.
